Dr. Aziz is a shelter veterinarian currently completing her residency with the UC Davis Koret Shelter Medicine Program. She went to Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine to obtain her DVM degree where she participated in multiple international dog welfare and population control projects in Nepal and Bhutan. In the United States, there are less than 100 board-certified veterinary nutritionists. Not to be confused with animal nutritionists, veterinary nutritionists are required to do a residency to learn the art and science of nutrition. Dr. Georgina Marquez is a small animal practitioner who specializes in internal medicine. She was born in Mexico and attended the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) for veterinary school. She completed her residency in internal medicine at UC Davis and currently practices in Southern California for the California Veterinary Specialists (CVS) Angel Care Cancer Center.
